About Steve Penk
Steve Penk started his radio career aged 16 at Piccadilly Radio in Manchester.
At the time Penky was the youngest ever presenter on British Radio hosting his own regular show.
During his time at Piccadilly Radio (later rebranded as Key 103) Steve launched what was to become his trademark Wind Up phone calls.
This became the single highest rated feature in the radio stations history and catapulted Steve to a national audience.
In 1996 Steve joined Capital FM in London and during his time there, managed to mastermind, on his show, a Wind Up on the then British Prime Minister Tony Blair, this resulted in Penky being headline news across the world.
Steve has also hosted various Primetime shows for ITV
